Clerk injured in armed robbery at Hixville general store

An 82-year-old store clerk was stabbed on November 8 during a struggle with a would-be robber at the Hixville Village Store.

According to Dartmouth police, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 790 Old Fall River Road store at 5:07 p.m. Officers discovered the clerk upon arrival. He suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was transported to the hospital to receive treatment.

The clerk sustained stab wounds as a result of a struggle with the suspect. After the struggle, the suspect fled on foot without getting any money.

The suspect is still at large, and is identified as a white male, six feet tall, and wearing a green camouflage hoodie with a bandana over his face.
