The Dartmouth Mall will not be opening at midnight on Black Friday as originally planned, but several stores on mall property will be opening early.

According to town licensing clerk Linda Torres, the mall made a last-minute decision to not open its doors at 12 a.m. on November 24. Instead, the mall will open at 6 a.m. on November 24.

Several anchor stores at the mall with their own entry and exit points, however, will be opening early on Black Friday. Sears, JCPenny, and Macy's are planning openings between 12 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. on Black Friday, Torres said.
