Registrations for the Dartmouth Public Schools preschool and kindergarten programs are now being accepted.

Preschool program registration at either the Andrew B. Cushman School or Potter Elementary School is due on March 15. The application can be downloaded online at dartmouth.school/Page/1885 or in paper form at the District Administrative Offices, 8 Bush Street.

To apply, children must be three years old prior to September 1; must reside in the Town of Dartmouth; and must be provided transportation.

Once the application is complete, parents must schedule children for a screening session. Screening sessions will be held on March 27 at Potter Elementary School and March 28-29 at Cushman. Program eligibility and peer partner criteria will be based on the screening.

If the number of preschool applicants exceeds the number of available seats, a lottery system will be used. Parents will be notified by late April of their child’s acceptance into the preschool program.

Kindergarten registration is available online at dartmouth-registration.hosted.src-solutions.com. Walk-in registration will also be held between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on March 13 at Cushman Elementary, March 14 at Potter Elementary, and March 15 at Quinn Elementary.

Children must be five years old prior to September 1 and must reside in the Town of Dartmouth to attend kindergarten.
