Forever 21, Newbury Comics and EbLens, an urban fashion store, will be opening at the Dartmouth Mall in the coming months.

The mall’s Facebook page originally announced the fall 2018 opening of Forever 21 on March 15. The 11,500 square foot store will be taking over the old Victoria Secret and shoe department stores near Yankee Candle.

After several requests via Facebook comments, mall officials have asked Forever 21 to sell athletic and plus size clothing to meet customer demands.

Mall owner PREIT announced EbLens will also be opening a 6,000 square foot location this fall. Newbury Comics will open in a 3,900 square foot area. It is a music, movie and pop culture goods store and is slated to open this spring.

These new stores come after the mall recently leased a 23,000 square foot space to clothing retail chain H&M. The mall also opened Encore, a shoe store and Torrid, a plus size clothing store.
