Prowl for Owls with Mass Audubon

Go on an owl prowl on Saturday, November 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to explore the Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary with Mass Audubon and identify nocturnal wildlife as it awakens.
Learn about and listen for owl calls at the Stone Barn Farm on 786 East Horseneck Road in South Dartmouth at dusk before hitting the trails.
 
Walk a mile from sunset to twilight without flashlights, using night vision skills and listening to hear the three species of owls that nest in the area.
 

Participants will also learn interesting facts and information about any other nighttime wildlife that is discovered.

Warm clothing and comfortable shoes recommended. The program is limited to 15 participants and is best suited for adults. Registration is required.

Cost is $15 for Mass Audubon members, $18 for non-members.
