How do you feel about transportation in the region?

The Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District is currently seeking input from residents on that very topic as part developing its Regional Transportation Plan titled “Moving Forward 2050.”

According to SRPEDD, the plan ooks at every facet of transportation including roads and bridges, travel patterns, public transportation such as buses, commuter rail, freight and airports, as well as bicycles and pedestrians among others. 

The ultimate goal, the regional planning agency said, is to “establish the means to affordably maintain our transportation system.”
