Cultural Center presents 'Accidental Metamorphosis' exhibition
The Dartmouth Cultural Center is holding an opening reception Friday, July 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for their next art exhibit featuring artist who are part of the National Association of Women Artists.
Fifteen artists will have their work on display, including local artists Kim Barry, Dot Bergen, Nadine Flowers, Barbara Healy, Mary Hurwitz, Jill Law, Tammy Meehan and Beth Russo.
The show, titled "Accidental Metamorphosis," will explore how our lives, which are often in constant motion, can adapt to ever-changing social, political and cultural events.
This is a juried exhibition, meaning that artists had to submit their work to a judge for review and then selection for the gallery.
The artwork on display will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting both the artists and the Cultural Center.
The Cultural Center is located at 404 Elm Street, and the exhibition will be on display through Saturday, Aig. 15. Normal gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
