Operation Firewall arrests 56 across state for sex crimes, including a Dartmouth man
Massachusetts State Police announced the arrest of 56 individuals, including a Dartmouth man, for sex crimes involving children.
Elliot Oullette-Cormier, age 31 from Dartmouth, was arrested for possessing child pornography.
There were 19 counts of child enticement, seven counts of failure to register with the Sex Offenders Registry, 23 counts of child pornography and seven warrants for rape/assault and battery on a child. Those arrested ranged from ages 18 to 75 across 38 communities in Massachusetts.
The three-day sting involved 34 residential search warrants and 229 devices seized. State police announced that there will be more arrests to come.
This operation has been in the planning for months, with Cyber Crime Unit, the High Risk Victims Unit, the State Police Detective Units within each District Attorney’s Office, the Special Tactical Operations Team and the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section.
