Dartmouth students win a number of scholarships
Eighteen students from Dartmouth were awarded scholarships through the SouthCoast Community Foundation Awards.
The Foundation awarded a total of 124 students $900,000 in scholarships.
Fifteen students are from Dartmouth High School.
Senior Alliah Khan won the SCCF External Scholarships.
Senior Amanda Logan won the SCCF External Scholarships.
College student Aubrey DeSouza won the Olga R. Sylvia, Manuel Sylvia, and Iria R.S. Sylvia Scholarship Fund.
College student Brooke Davis won the Carlin Lynch Scholarship.
Senior Caleb Chaves won the Olga R. Sylvia, Manuel Sylvia, and Iria R.S. Sylvia Scholarship Fund.
Senior Elena Sobran won the Ladies' Branch of the New Bedford Port Society Scholarship.
College student Emerson White won the Ladies' Branch of the New Bedford Port Society Scholarship.
KaidenOliveira won the Leo R. and Muriel A. Lanouette Scholarship.
Senior Lilah Brum won the College Club of New Bedford, Inc. Scholarship.
College student Makayla DeSouza won the Olga R. Sylvia, Manuel Sylvia, and Iria R.S. Sylvia Scholarship Fund.
Senior Preston Francisco won the New Bedford Half Marathon Committee Scholarship
Senior Sophia Rutkowski won the Olga R. Sylvia, Manuel Sylvia, and Iria R.S. Sylvia Scholarship Fund.
Senior Tristan Almeida won the The TJA Fund - Jordan Alves Memorial Scholarship (TJA).
From Bishop Stang, senior Ruby Rose won the Partners in Education Scholarship.
From Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational High School, senior Madalyn Duarte won the George Earl and Katherine Hartley Church Scholarship.
From New Bedford High School, senior Anyis Mendes won the Lipsky-Whittaker LGBTQ Scholarship.
