On Friday, June 5 Dartmouth Parks and Recreation will be hosting a grand opening of Darks and Tails, new dog park located at Dartmouth Regional Park & Trails.
The celebration will begin at 9 a.m. and will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony and remarks from representatives of Dartmouth Parks and Recreation, the Select Board, Dartmouth Dog Advisory Work Group and the Community Preservation Committee.
Refreshments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be a chance for one attendee to win a giveaway prize.
All community members and their dogs are welcome to attend.
The new dog park is designed as a safe and welcoming place where dogs can run, play and socialize while families and neighbors can relax, connect and enjoy the outdoors together.
