A dog show sponsored by a real estate company? No one’s barking up the wrong tree.

Milbury and Company Real Estate Brokerage is hosting its first annual dog show at its parking lot, located at 304 Elm Street, on Saturday, July 27, starting at 1 p.m.

Linda Hopps, a broker associate with Milbury, said, “Will [Milbury] and I have been talking about this for a few years, and now that I work with him, we decided this was the year to go.”

The show is simply “for fun” inspired by Hopps and Milbury’s love for dogs.

There will be prizes and awards will be given across several categories, including biggest, smallest, naughtiest, best dress and most handsome dogs.

“Almost all the agents are going to be there talking to people and just having fun,” Hopps said. “We’ll have some treats and just have a good time.”

There is no limit on the number of dogs entered into the show.
