Thomas Quinn, 75
Thomas Quinn, 75, of Dartmouth, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, December 7, 2025 with his family by his side. He was the husband of Barbara (Therrien) Quinn, they shared 54 years of marriage.
Tom was born in Fall River, son of the late George and Loretta (Barnaby) Quinn and was raised in the city's "Corky Row" neighborhood. He was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served his country in the Vietnam War. He was owner/operator of Quinn Building Consultants, Dartmouth where he was a home inspector, a job he truly loved. Tom was a member of the VFW Post 9059 in Dartmouth, the VFW Post 8502 in Westport and the Corky Row Club, Fall River where he was one time President. He was past President of the Rod and Gun Club of New Bedford and was co-founder of the Irish Heritage Association of Fall River. He enjoyed fishing, travel and was a great chef who loved to cook and entertain for his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his grandson David Quinn of Portland, ME; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Shawn Patrick Quinn and brother of the late Walter "Cookie" Quinn and John "Jackie" Quinn.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home, Westport at 11:30 A.M.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10-11:30 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Dartmouth.
