INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Dartmouth invites sealed bids for the renovation to the Dartmouth Council On Aging at 628 Dartmouth St, Dartmouth, MA 02748 in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Brewster Thornton Group Architects, LLP in Providence, Rhode Island.
General Project Description:
The Project will consist of interior renovations to the existing Dartmouth Council On Aging Kitchen and Main Hall, located at 628 Dartmouth St, Dartmouth, MA 02748, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression modifications.
THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE AWARDING AUTHORITY. All bids shall be submitted via email to Melanie Perry at the Town of Dartmouth: MPerry@Dartmouthma.gov.
Availability of Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained starting (Monday), April 27, 2026, by emailing the contact listed above. Addenda will be issued to only those who have contacted the Town directly for the bid documents.

Pre-Bid Conference: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on (Friday), May 1, 2026, at (10AM) local time at the Dartmouth Council On Aging, 628 Dartmouth St, Dartmouth, MA 02748.
Receipt of Sub-Bids: Electronic BIDS will be received by Town of Dartmouth on behalf of the Awarding Authority to the contract listed above until 3:00PM local time, Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at which time all bids will be opened and recorded. Official time is that of Awarding Authority at location of bid receipt; no late bids will be accepted. Filed Sub-Bids will be shared in an addendum to all bidders.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. on the petition of Cody Santos who is seeking a Variance to construct a 30’x50’ barn located with setbacks 30.6’ from the street and 11.4’ from the side boundary of the property. The lot was expanded to include “Parcel A’ in the OSRD Subdivision recorded in December 2012 at the Registry of Deeds Book 170 Page 11. The Planning Board issued a Special Permit to allow a reduction in side yard setbacks to 15’ but maintained the 60’ setback from the street. A Variance is required to reduce the front and side yard setbacks. (375-24.3C (2) Parking facility setbacks. The property is located at 367 Old Westport Road in the Single Residence B District and identified on Assessor’s Map 49 Lot 23-3.
