Concerning a Proposed Health Care Project

The Children’s Hospital Corporation located at 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115 intends to File a Notice of Determination of Need (“Application”) with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for a Conservation Project by Boston Children’s Hospital located at 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115. The application requests approval for the following: (1) modernization of our sterile processing functions, (2) hospital wide building renewals to maintain current operations, (3) architectural fees to radiology departments and (4) architectural fees for certain outpatient areas. The total value of the Proposed Conservation Project is $26,498,000. This Application includes projects at the Longwood Campus as well as our Lexington, Peabody, North Dartmouth, and Waltham satellite locations. The Applicant does not anticipate any price or service impacts on the Applicant’s existing Patient Panel as a result of the Proposed Conservation Project. Any ten Taxpayers of Massachusetts may register in connection with the intended Application by not later than October 14, 2023 or 30 days from the Filing Date, whichever is later, by contacting the Department of Public Health, Determination of Need Program, 250 Washington Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02108.

Notice is hereby given that an application has been received from Hungry Pot Dartmouth, Inc. d/b/a/ Hungry Pot for a New Restaurant/All Alcohol License under the provisions of M.G.L. Ch. 138 at 466 State Road, Dartmouth. The premises consists of one floor, 5,400 sq. ft., one room, 4 entry/egress, and a kitchen in rear of building. The manager will be Shuo Chen.

DARTMOUTH FIRE DISTRICT NO.1
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

Dartmouth Fire District No.1, Dartmouth, Massachusetts, acting through its Prudential Committee, is requesting proposals from qualified designers, as defined in M.G.L. c. 7C, § 44, for the planning and design of Additions and Renovations of the existing Fire Station DFD1 which serves residents of Dartmouth Fire District No.1, Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The estimated construction budget is $6,000,000.00. This RFQ is issued in conformance with, and subject to, the Design Selection Procedures that the Prudential Committee adopted on 6/28/23. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the RFQ which is available on September 6, 2023, by contacting: Architectural Consulting Group, Inc., 2206 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA 02745 or by email: acg@acgpm.com. The submission deadline and instructions are: Qualified persons or firms are requested to submit proposals marked: “Designer Services Dartmouth Fire District No.1” with the applicant’s name and address on the front. Fax or electronic submissions will not be accepted. All proposals must be received and registered by the District Chief’s office at 10 Bridge St, Dartmouth, MA 02748 by September 21, 2023 by 2:00 p.m. No proposals will be accepted after the time and date noted. If on the date and time of the submittal deadline the building is closed due to an uncontrolled event such as Fire, snow, ice, wind or building evacuation, the submittal deadline will be postponed until 2:00 p.m. on the next normal business day.
