Police nab alleged crack dealer at Motor Inn
Dartmouth police arrested a New Bedford man at the Motor Inn on Tuesday, July 16 on suspicion of dealing crack cocaine.
At about 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dartmouth Police Narcotics Detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop at the Dartmouth Motor Inn on State Road.
The detectives found approximately nine grams of suspected crack cocaine inside the vehicle.
The driver, Joshua Washburn, 24, of New Bedford, was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Detectives also seized around $1,100 in cash on Washburn’s person at the time of his arrest.
