Search for snowy owls with Mass Audubon’s Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary on January 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.. 

The sanctuary will lead a hike of its 1280 Horseneck Rd. sanctuary in search of the elusive winter owls on a hike that will cover 2.5 miles of beach and woodland trails. If sightings are reported elsewhere, the hike may extend to other locations by carpool. 

The cost to attend is $18 for Mass Audubon members and $20 for non-members. Visit massaudubon.org to register.
