Water main repair on state road

There will be repairs made to the water main on State Road at the intersection of State Road from Monday, Nov. 9 to Friday, Nov. 13. 

There will be no repairs on Wednesday, Nov. 11. 

The eastbound lane will be closed from the intersection of Slocum Road and State Road to the intersection of State Road and Wilbur Avenue. 

The repairs will be replacing a six-inch gate that is stuck in the closed positon. The valve provides water ot the businesses in the Village Cafe lot. 

The Town's Water Division will contact affected customers. 

Drivers should anticipate delays, use caution and seek alternate routes when possible.
