The Lloyd Center is hosting a women’s canoe trip from 5-7:30 p.m. on September 23, led by Liz Moniz, the Center’s Education and Outreach Director.

Participants will canoe the historic Slocum River. Participants will meet at the Center’s 430 Potomska Rd. location before taking a short hike through the forest to the launch site. All equipment is provided, and participants should wear clothing and footwear they don’t mind getting wet, and bring a non-alcoholic beverage and a snack.

Pre-registration is required online at lloydcenter.org for this event, which costs $32 for members and $40 for non-members.
