Two Dartmouth men overdosed on heroin on Wednesday, April 27, at Taco Bell in the Dartmouth Mall, police said.

An employee said the two men, ages 21 and 17, appeared to be "nodding off" in a booth at the restaurant and called authorities about 1:30 p.m., said Detective Kyle Costa, a spokesman for the Dartmouth Police Department. Paramedics transported them to St. Luke's Hospital, he said.

One of the men made statements that they had used heroin earlier in the day, according to Costa.
