Robert Alan Pinto, 67, of Dartmouth, passed away on June 1, 2018 from complications of epilepsy.

He was the son of the late Antone C. and Eunice (Viera) Pinto.

Robert was formerly employed by My Bread Baking Company until his retirement. He was the second youngest of the six Pinto sons who all grew up in Dartmouth.

His pride and joy was bragging about all his nieces and nephews that his brothers had given him. Robert was the devoted supporting son for his Mom until she passed at the age of 89. He will be remembered for his ability to talk to anyone about anything.

His leaves behind his partner Brenda Henriques, with whom he shared many happy years; four brothers, Richard A. Pinto and his wife Sue of Manassas, VA, Russell C. Pinto and his wife Elizabeth of Dartmouth, Ralph E. Pinto and his wife Cynthia of Fort Myers, FL, and Randolph D. Pinto and his wife Bernadette of Melbourne, FL; sister-in-law Normenia Pinto of New Bedford; and over 50 nieces and nephews including the "greats." He also leaves the many friends that he collected along the way which was everyone he met.

He was the brother of the late Ronald F. Pinto.

His funeral will be held on June 11 at 9 a.m. from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his funeral mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be June 10, 3-6 p.m.
