Dartmouth High teams set for postseason play
Dartmouth High’s teams hope for deep playoff runs in their first tournament games since 2019 after the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association announced its seeding for the upcoming state fall tournaments.
The football team will kick off their postseason push at Milton High at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 5. The winner will face off against either North Attleboro or Plymouth North on a date to be determined.
The Indians are heading in as the 11th seed after ending the season 6-2 with a decisive win over rival New Bedford. Dartmouth went 2-2 in conference play this season.

While no longer undefeated like prior squads, the varsity volleyball team is looking to show why it was the top in the Southeast Conference after going 15-3 this season.
Dartmouth’s losses came against back-to-backs against non-conference Old Rochester and Westborough High and ending the season with a 3-1 loss against Barnstable on Oct. 30. The team went undefeated against conference opponents.
The Indians are set to take on Dracut High at the Dartmouth High Carlin Lynch Activity Center Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.
With a 14-1-3 season, the field hockey team will enter the fall tournament as the 11th seed. The Indians will host Silver Lake at Memorial Stadium on Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
After ending the season 12-3-3, the girls soccer team will travel to Masconomet Regional High School in Boxford to start their postseason push on Nov. 6 at 11 a.m.
With a 6-8-2 record, the boys soccer team enters as the 32 seed and will host No. 33 North Attleboro on Nov. 4 at 3:30 p.m. The winner will advance to play East Longmeadow in the Round of 32.
The boys ended the season with back-to-back wins against Diman Regional Voc-Tech and Apponequet Regional High School.
