Bishop Stang Class of '71 returns for 55th reunion

For 54 years the Bishop Stang class of '71 has been meeting three or four times a year. Most summers the "big meet up" is the Portuguese Feast in New Bedford. This year, they met in the Bishop Stang cafeteria for the first time in 55 years.

During the June 25 reunion, the alumni competed in a 1971 trivia contest and toured the school.

During the tour, the alumni were led into the normally off limits convent area that was transformed into offices, the library and meeting rooms, as well as a new project for an engineering lab.

The tour ended in the band room, where Friday Night Mixers were held between 1967 to 1971.
