District attorney not seeking reelection

After serving nearly 12 years as the Bristol County District Attorney, Thomas Quinn will not be seeking reelection for a fourth term. He did not say why he decided to not seek reelection.

Quinn grew up in Bristol County and became a prosecutor 40 years ago. He was elected to be the District Attorney in 2015 by Governors Deval Patrick and Charlie Baker. 

“I will continue to fight for the victims and citizens of Bristol County as I complete my final year in office,” said Quinn.
