A potential solution to the orange bags

A solution to the orange Save Money and Reduce Trash program bags ripping may be near, with the bag manufacturer set to change their manufacturing process.
Board of Public Works members said that the bags have been ripping due to the glue strip being put on the bottom of the bag before being placed in the packaging
The manufacturer has changed their process and will be sending a sample to Director of Public Works Tim Barber. Barber said he doesn’t know what the new process of production will be and the sample has not been received yet to confirm quality.
For current unsatisfied customers, they can call Public Works 508-999-0740 or bring the bags to Public Works and have them replaced, which is located at 759 Russells Mills Road.
