Get immersed in Batik arts at the Dartmouth Cultural Center with their AT-140 Line and Wash Watercolor Batik on Kinwashi Rice Paper event.
Batik art is a style of textile dying using hot wax and dye to create patterns. Using waterproof markers, a watercolor wash, and wax, guests can create works of Batik inspired art that are delicate, vibrant, and textured.
The class is $85 for those who are not members of the cultural center, and $75 for those who are. The class is on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a break for lunch.
