Explore historic Dartmouth homes at upcoming tour

Nov 26, 2018

Here’s a sneak peak at some of the houses which will be open for a special tour during the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society’s first Russells Mills Village House Tour.

The tour, which will be held on December 1, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., will include a visit to six historic private homes built in the 18th or 19th century.

Five homes are located within the village, while a sixth house is a short drive away. In advance of the tour, the society has released samples of several homes which will be open during the tour – although the exact location of each is being kept a secret until the tour.

Want to know where these photos were taken? Tickets for the tour are on sale now at Alderbrook Farm at 1213 Russells Mills Road, Cravings Cafe and Cakery at 98A State Road, and Davoll’s General Store at 1228 Russells Mills Road.

Tickets are $25 each, and can be purchased with cash or a check made payable to the DHAS. Ticket are limited. If tickets are not sold out in advance, tickets will be for sale the day of the tour.

The tour will begin at the home of the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society, 1205 Russells Mills Road. Parking, shuttle bus information, and more information can be found by visiting the society’s website, dartmouthhas.org.
