Goal scored! Dartmouth high school varsity hockey gets its revenge
Dec 31, 2025
The Dartmouth High School boys varsity ice hockey team got their revenge against Norwood High School at a local tournament, winning 4-1 when they faced off at Hetland Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 27.
Norwood High School was the team that bounced Dartmouth out of the state tournament in 2024, so head coach Mark Rossi felt “...we were able to get a little revenge on that.”
He credits the win to the defense and the goalie, who were able to block many of Norwood's attempts at scoring goals. Norwood had just beaten Auburn High School, which is a top 10 team.
“We had a good structure, we played a great D-zone, goalie played really well,” said Rossi. “We just kind of did a lot of the little things.”
