The employee he was arguing with called the manager and handed over the cell phone, which Sheikh threw and broke after arguing with the manager. He then left the building to wait in the parking lot.
The manager of the smoke shop arrived, and Sheikh followed him in, where he proceeded to threaten the workers' lives with a knife, slashing and lunging at them. He grabbed the cash register and left the shop.
After this, he went to the Kun Kabob and Curry restaurant in Fall River, which was owned by the same family as King Smoke Shop. There he grabbed the cash register and fled.
A Be On The Look Out order was placed, and Providence police caught him in Providence. Both cash registers were found in his vehicle.
