NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a meeting will be held in accordance with the provisions of the Dartmouth Wetlands Protection Bylaw and M.G.L., Ch. 131, §40, the Wetlands Protection Act, on the Notice of Intent from Jeffrey Martin (University of Massachusetts Dartmouth) c/o Christopher Garcia (GGD Consulting Engineers, Inc.) for the construction of three basketball courts, the expansion of an existing parking lot with associated grading and stormwater on the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth campus. The parking lot expansion and one (1) court are located within the 100-foot Buffer Zone of Isolated Vegetated Wetlands; one (1) court is proposed within a Bordering Vegetated Wetland and its associated 100-foot Buffer Zone; on land described as Map 49, Lot 19 or 285 Old Westport Road. The Conservation Commission voted in a Public Meeting to continue meeting virtually (via a Zoom Link) in accordance with the Governor’s 2025 extension of the virtual/hybrid open meeting option through June 30, 2027. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday August 18, 2026. Login information for the meeting appears on the agenda posted on the Dartmouth Conservation Commission page of the Town of Dartmouth website. All interested parties should log into the meeting and be present at that time.

PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 148, a public hearing will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 6:05 P.M. in the Select Board Meeting Room, Dartmouth Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, Massachusetts, to consider the application of 411 Faunce Corner Road, LLC for a license to store 32,000 gallons of flammable liquids and 8,000 gallons of combustible liquids. The fuel will be stored in underground storage tanks (USTs), including compartment underground tanks, beneath the proposed gas station at 411 Faunce Corner Road, Dartmouth, MA. The premises are proposed to be used as a gas station and convenience store. Those interested in providing comments may do so by attending this hearing.
