Opinion: regarding Dartmouth ZBA meetings

A few weeks ago, I reached out to the Dartmouth ZBA to consider having on-line meeting access like the Conservation and Planning Boards do. The in person only meetings restrict public participation on important topics like the many large scale apartment projects going thru the permitting process. Many residents work out of town, have small children or may have a disability which limits their ability to attend a ZBA meeting in person. The town wants more residents to get involved with town issues and I think having a ZOOM meeting option for the ZBA would be a positive step. I encourage other town residents to request more online town board meetings to get more neighbors involved in important challenges the town is facing, Thanks for reading.
