Parking ban announced ahead of blizzard conditions
Feb 21, 2026
With a blizzard expected to hit the South Coast late Sunday afternoon, a parking ban will be going into effect at 6 pm on Sunday and will last through 11 pm on Monday, Feb. 23.
Parking is not allowed on the side of the street with fire hydrants. If there aren't any hydrants, cars should be parked on the even house numbered side.
Public Works crew members will be out pre-treating roads Sunday and will be removing snow through Sunday night and most of Monday.
Solid waste and recycling pickup on Monday, Feb. 23 will also be canceled so that crew members can clear snow and treat the roads for snow and ice.
As the storm and forecast progresses, if you have any information, photos or tips, please send them to news@dartmouthweek.net.
