Two Dartmouth police employees awarded in state-wide awards

Two members of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department were awarded by the Massachusetts Sheriffs’ Association. They were two of 10 people awarded this year.
Alyssa Perley of Fall River won Employee of the Year for her work at the Dartmouth House of Correction. She was chosen for her coordination during a fire at an assisted living facility, managing communications between multiple hospitals and agencies while maintaining her regular dispatch duties and demonstrating professionalism and dedication.
Captain Sam Raposa of New Bedford won Supervisor of the Year for his work revitalizing the recruitment program that uses multi-platform outreach, strategic partnerships, and hands-on support.
