Wednesdays are for the birds — at least that’s the case these days at the Lloyd Center.

Join Research Associate Jamie Bogart for a walk through South Dartmouth on Wednesday, Aug. 7 just as the waterbird migration kicks into high gear. All are welcome — no matter their level of bird knowledge.

Registration is limited and must be completed by Tuesday, Aug. 6 (https://lloydcenter.org/form-event-registration/). Members are free and non-members must pay a $5 fee.

According to the Lloyd Center, the forests are active with songbirds in their late summer molts and fledges from the season who have left their nest have been seen using the center’s feeder station.

Attendees are encouraged to wear hiking footwear and bring birding binoculars and a camera. The group will meet at the stairs outside the Lloyd Center at 9 a.m.
