Dartmouth Libraries win March Madness
Apr 14, 2026
The Dartmouth Public Libraries won the March Madness reading challenge, with a total of 1,192,723 minutes logged during the tournament.
“Now not only is Dartmouth the highest circulating community in the SAILS Library Network, but it’s also logged the most minutes read in the whole state,” the Library noted in a Facebook post.
Every student at the Potter School participated, helping the libraries secure the win.
The reading minutes included all forms of reading, whether it was reading books, newspapers or magazines. Members also logged time spent listening to audiobooks or being read to in class.
