To the Editor: Regarding fireworks

Fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts - this means fireworks are illegal in every city and town in Massachusetts.

But, somehow, some residents in Dartmouth do not think this law applies to them.  There are residents who have been shooting off fireworks every July 4th before and beyond the date for years and years and years. It’s enough! These selfish inconsiderate and disrespectful neighbors have no concern for the young and old, the sick and the effect these fireworks have on our pets.

Fireworks are illegal in Massachusttts - remember the horrible incident in Dartmouth caused by fireworks on Sagamore Drive in September 2025?  Let’s never have another Sagamore Drive - let’s never have to say we are sorry or we should not have.

Please stop this illegal act forever - Fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts - this includes Dartmouth.
