To the Editor: on State Representative race

Two debates, several rally speeches and personal discussions  have confirmed my belief  that Ed Pacheco will be an effective, independent, and available legislator for  Dartmouth and New Bedford.

His breadth of knowledge of the issues facing this area, as well as the state of Massachusetts is impressive.  His answers at debates  are very specific and thought out, and impressively devoid of political rhetoric.  

He is ready to forcefully and convincingly argue his positions at the state house and acknowledges the necessity of building coalitions with other legislators in similar situations and different political parties.

It has been refreshing to listen to a prospective candidate who speaks about the issues many voters may be unaware of, but realize now the importance of having a representative in the state house promoting their well being rather than insuring his next election.
