Fire District 1 receives grant funding for firefighter safety equipment

Dartmouth Fire District 1 has received $18,078 in grant funding from the Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant Program in State Fiscal Year 2026.

With this money the fire district will be able to buy a new turnout gear washer andn a thermal imaging camera for its front line engine, both needed firfighter safety equipment.
