Padanaram Bridge closes due to extreme heat

The Padanaram Bridge is currently closed due to a mechanical issue caused by extreme heat. Repairs are ongoing and detours are in place.

Vehicles are being detoured from the Padanaram Causeway and Bridge Street.

Those headed west will take Gulf Road onto Bakerville Road, then to Russells Mills Road, Elm Street and Bridge Street.

Those headed east will take Bridge Street onto Elm Street, then to Russells Mills Road, Bakerville Road and Gulf Road.
